After a devastating summer fire, the Corte Medronheira community invites you to join five Sundays of hands-on restoration and learning. Together we’ll clear burned areas, protect the soil, rebuild water-retention features, spread seeds, and plant native trees to help the landscape recover. Each session will focus on a different theme — from soil care to water regeneration and reforestation — while sharing stories, meals, and practical skills for fire-resilient ecosystems.
These sessions are presented on 23 and 30 November, from 9:30am – 3:30pm each day. Join as many days as you wish, and join and leave at whatever time you wish each day. You do not have to stay the entire time. Ages 16+. Please bring gloves, hat, sturdy shoes, water, and lunch. Note: The session planned for 16 November has been cancelled due to heavy rain.
If you have any questions, please email the project.
