DESCRIPTION:The Ecosystem Regeneration Camp (ERC) is an immersive learning\, action\, and networking experience which shares\, develops\, and puts into practice seasonal knowledge of agroforestry and ecological regeneration. People from diverse backgrounds come together to act as regeneration agents for 7 days in a residential camp near Lagos\, Portugal. \nParticipants come away from this training program with more knowledge\, skills\, and confidence in ecosystem restoration\, while also creating powerful relationships with fellow attendees. \nThe program is taught in English\, and the price is based on a donation model. \n			\n				Learn more and register

SUMMARY:Quinta do Horizonte: Water Storage and Retention
DESCRIPTION:Workshop on storing and keeping the water in the landscape. 30 minute theory introduction followed by on-site construction of several check dams with different techniques to teach and inspire. The session is from 9:30am to 2:00pm. All ages are welcome. Just after you leave Budens\, the road turns into a wide dirt road. Drive to this location: https://maps.app.goo.gl/fDAwAq6SJnwqjCnm6\, and take a right turn onto the smaller dirt road that goes up the hill. If you get to the village of Pedralva\, you have gone too far. \nFrom the direction of: Aljezur/Carrapateira/Sagres navigate directly to Pedralva. To get there\, continue straight past Pedralva (having the village on your right side)\, pass the garbage bins (also on your right) and the road turns into a dirt road. On the dirt road take the 1st left that goes up the hill. This is the location where you will turn left: https://maps.app.goo.gl/fDAwAq6SJnwqjCnm6 \nOnce you have turned off the wide dirt road just south of PedralvaFollow the road to the top and continue until you get to the Y-junction. Take the right. 200m after this\, there is an option to turn left\, take it. Be careful not to miss this one\, it’s a sharp turn to the left. After 100m you meet a 4-way crossing with an option to go into the field.
