As the fire season approaches, it is essential that we activate together local preparedness and response mechanisms to prevent widespread destruction and the loss of property and ecosystems. To build resilience, it is crucial to bridge the gap between public efforts and direct community participation and action.<\/p>\n
It is with this in mind that we facilitated a participatory workshop on Building Community Resilience to Wildfires<\/strong>, which took place on 24 June 2026 at Quinta Vale da Lama<\/strong> in Some activities will be held in our fantastic Dome, others outdoors on a super relaxed day \ud83d\udc9a. For those who are interested we will be making Vegetarian Pizza in the wood-fired oven<\/span> (lunch sold out). For those with children we have counsellors so the everyone can play freely and safely in the nature \ud83d\ude4c – note that kids under 5\/6 years old must be accompanied by an adult in the family – (courtesy from Projecto Novas Descobertas association). You and your family are invited to this magical place! Make your registration now and come celebrate the arrival of spring with us \ud83c\udf33<\/h4>\n
