Quinta do Horizonte is offering the following sessions:<\/p>\n
4 & 5 November<\/strong>: Workshop on storing and keeping the water in the landscape. 30 minute theory introduction followed by on-site construction of checkdams with different techniques to teach and inspire.<\/p>\n 12 November<\/strong>: The workshop will combine water retention and agroforestry plantation.<\/p>\n 19 & 26 November<\/strong>: Planting workshop on diverse agroforestry plantations inspired by the principles of syntropic agroforestry.<\/p>\n All sessions are from 9:30am to 2:00pm. All ages are welcome. Just after you leave Budens, the road turns into a wide dirt road. Drive to this location: https:\/\/maps.app.goo.gl\/fDAwAq6SJnwqjCnm6, and take a right turn onto the smaller dirt road that goes up the hill. If you get to the village of Pedralva, you have gone too far.<\/p>\n From the direction of: Aljezur\/Carrapateira\/Sagres<\/strong> navigate directly to Pedralva. To get there, continue straight past Pedralva (having the village on your right side), pass the garbage bins (also on your right) and the road turns into a dirt road. On the dirt road take the 1st left that goes up the hill. This is the location where you will turn left: https:\/\/maps.app.goo.gl\/fDAwAq6SJnwqjCnm6<\/p>\n Once you have turned off the wide dirt road just south of Pedralva<\/strong> After you have parked, walk to this location<\/strong>: To get there after parking, continue the road that goes down. After 100m you meet a 4-way crossing with an option to go into the field.
