Mud Valley Foundation took part in a community tree planting event on March 24, 2026, in Parque da Cidade, Lagos. The initiative was organized by the Municipality of Lagos as part of its Green Week program, and we were joined there by Lagos Mais Verde, Quinta Vale da Lama, and Orla Design.
The event brought together 20 volunteers from the local area and resulted in the planting of 15 trees within the park, which is located next to the historic city walls of Old Town Lagos. Mud Valley Foundation and Quinta Vale da Lama contributed nine trees, including carob, fig, and white mulberry. Participating in initiatives like this is an important part of our work to engage the community and encourage active involvement in the preservation and regeneration of our local ecosystem.
This event was a part of Lagos Green Week, a series of activities designed to raise environmental awareness across the community. Tree planting plays a central role in this year’s program.
